In 2016, I set my reading goal at 50 books, but ended up reading a little over 65 books. As a result, I bumped up my reading goal to 75 books in 2017. With a lot of different major life events taking place in 2017, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to meet my goal. Much to my surprise, I surpassed my goal by reading 107 books!

This year, I know I won’t have as much time to read books as I did last year. While I think I’ll be able to read a lot of books this summer, I can usually only read from two to four books in one month during the school year. Even though getting behind on my Goodreads goal doesn’t stress me out too much, I’m going to set my goal a little lower than I did in 2017 by making my goal 50 books.
There are so many releases that I’m excited for in 2018 (Save the Date by Morgan Matson, Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West, just to name a couple), so I know there will be plenty of books to choose from to meet my goal!
How many books do you plan to read in 2018?
