My Rating Scale
★ ★ ★ ★ ★: I love this book! While reading this book, my experience was extremely positive. I had an emotional connection to the story or characters. The book was well-paced with an interesting plot or unique take on standard tropes. I had fun reading this book and couldn’t put it down. I thought about this book for days after reading it and will definitely reading it again.
★ ★ ★ ★: I really like it! While reading this book, my experience was mostly positive. This book was mostly well-paced with an interesting plot and some unique elements. This book may have some cliches, but it still stands apart from other similar books. I enjoyed reading this book and could see myself rereading it in the future.
★ ★ ★: It was okay! While reading this book, my experience was mostly positive. However, there were a few aspects that I did not enjoy. This book was well-paced in some sections, but dragged in other areas. Some aspects of the plot were generic or too similar to other books that I’ve read. I enjoyed reading this book, but I would put it down and focus on other activities. I may read this book again in the future for a light and quick read.

The pacing of this book was inconsistent and I took large breaks when reading this book. There were many cliches, with little or no differentiation from other similar stories, with irrelevant characters and scenes.

The pacing was extremely inconsistent and I took lengthy breaks while reading this book. I did not like most of the characters or the plot in this book and found them either too unlikeable or too similar to other books.
